Introduction Johor is situated at the most southern part of Peninsular Malaysia and just a sea apart from Singapore. The capital city is Johore Bharu, a lot of people that works in Singapore lives here because of the lower cost of living.
Johore comprises of different lifestyle from city area to small town villages. It is also known for its fishing villages
such as Kukup where daily earning of villagers is through fishing. Visitors can rent a chalet and spend days fishing and visiting places around.
For nature lover, Gunung Ledang is one of the most famous tourist spot which is not to be missed; there are also a lot of legends involving this mountain. Air Papan, a village in Mersing which is famous for its beautiful scenery, will held a fiesta on the 1st May of each year, where most of the visitors and foreigners will stay here and take part in all sorts of activities that are carried out. |
